I had a lovely one-night stay in a Double Room with Four Poster Bed. The hosts were very welcoming, and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The location was fantastic, right on the seafront, making it easy to explore. Their cats are a charming touch! 🐱

Friendly atmosphere with engaging hosts.
The shower water pressure was dismal, making it frustrating to use. I was also disappointed by the lack of communication regarding wifi, leaving me in the dark about connectivity options. Not to mention, the thin walls made every noise from neighboring rooms distractingly loud.

Just spent a lovely night at The Haldon! The breakfast was delicious with a lovely variety, and the hosts were super welcoming. Only downside was the water pressure in the shower, but I’d totally stay here again!

Ideal for families, pleasant outdoor seating, craftsman décor
Parking is a nightmare!!! Water pressure in the shower is weak!!! Limited communal space feels cramped!!! Shower accessibility could be a major discomfort!!!

Perfect for family
The hosts were very nice. They even provided a fossil for my son which sparked his interest in treasure hunting.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive , but considering the stay and service, it was acceptable.

The Haldon offers a delightful stay with such attentive hosts. Graham and Katarina go above and beyond to ensure your experience is memorable, even making sure that your breakfast options are pre-ordered the night before. I stayed in a Superior Double or Twin En Suite, which was clean and beautifully decorated. Plus, the location is spot-on—just a few minutes walk to the beach and Paignton's town centre, so everything is at your fingertips.
Parking was limited.

Perfect for families with kids
The hospitality there was something else. Graham and Katarina went above and beyond, even providing our little one with pancakes and Nutella every morning, which made his day. Plus, every night they asked what time we wanted breakfast, brilliant!
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but what do you expect for such great service, right?

Super comfy stay near the beach
Spent 4 nights in this lovely place! The hosts were super chill and friendly. My room had a huge comfy bed and a nice shower. It was spotless. The breakfast selection was great too! Just wish there were more parking spots, but otherwise, it was an awesome spot to relax.
